Davenport police say they cracked a large eastern Iowa gambling operation with a Saturday raid on the Davenport Tobacco Shop. A 14 year old boy is charged with breaking and entering at a residence where $644 worth of items were stolen. He was arrested at 4 21 p m Sunday after a neighbor described two boys leaving the Walter Huber residence at 1301 Fifth street NW. Police said another boy may be questioned. Taken items include clothing stereo tapes tools and jewelry valued at 10 for the box. all items except rare coins were recovered. The youth was taken to Linn county juvenile detention center.
