Cedar Rapids seeks input on Eighth Avenue Bridge redesign
Residents may comment online or by email through December 31 on a proposed replacement for the Eighth Avenue Bridge as part of Cedar Rapids flood control. The elevated 14 foot structure would keep in town access for emergency vehicles, remove gate closures, and cost up to 25 million dollars with utility work planned 2018 to 2019 and construction 2020 to 2022.

Democrats host virtual disability forum for Iowa chair race
