Man with stolen car and meth arrested in Iowa City
Muscatine man Jason P. Garrett, 42, was arrested after police found a meth bag in a vehicle reported stolen in Cedar County. He admitted paying $200 for the car and faced charges including second degree theft and possession of a controlled substance. He remained jailed on 6000 dollars bond with a sheriff detainer.

Burlington man accused in I C burglary and car theft
Iowa City police allege Casey T. Leedham, 36, forced entry on Sept. 3 in the 300 block of North Linn Street and stole car keys from a vehicle in the alley. He later appeared in Washington County with the keys, while damage at Laundromania near the scene totaled about 2000 dollars.

Fourth man arrested in I C robbery in Iowa City
Artquon L. Kirksey, 19, of Coralville, faces two counts of third degree robbery and one count of riot. He joins Kiwon Clay, Ali A. Ali, and Arthur L. Kirksey on identical charges from the November 6 robbery in the 500 block of South Gilbert Street. A woman was punched and a purse and a phone were taken as two others were assaulted. The crimes are aggravated misdemeanors. Kirksey also faces August burglary charges and remains jailed on a $45,000 bond on the new counts and pretrial violation.
