Madison School 1884 Photo Triggers Old Memories

Jurors Report For Vinton District Court Assignment

Forty six of seventy five jurors drawn for the November term are summoned to report Monday at 9 a.m. in Vinton for a three day assignment of law cases before Judge B. O. Tankersley. Nine cases are listed for Monday, eight for Tuesday, and three for Wednesday. jurors named include Paul Baird and Ellen Becker among many others from Vinton and surrounding towns.

Funeral services for Charles R. Walderbach at St Patrick's

Funeral services will be held at St Patrick's church Monday at 9 a.m. for Charles R. Walderbach 83 who died at his farm home near Anamosa. The Rev Father Behan will officiate. Walderbach was born near Anamosa and spent his life in the area.
