Two men, William A. Bell and Joseph Hill, were indicted by a Sioux City grand jury for the Belle Plaine post office burglary. They were to be arraigned in Cedar Rapids federal court with a third suspect at large. The counts allege forcible entry, transport of firearms from Hot Springs and Galveston, and firearm carry during felonies. both defendants face bonds and prior burglary convictions.

Albert H. Rogers 90 of 2551 C Street SW Cedar Rapids died Thursday after a long illness. Born Koszta August 22 1880 he lived in Cedar Rapids since 1905 and worked for Quaker Oats Co retired. Frank C. Mittlestedt 78 of 205 Parkcourt SE Cedar Rapids dies after a long illness. Born West Union May 19 1892 he was a car inspector for the Rock Island Railway 35 years retiring in 1955 and lived in Cedar Rapids 51 years. Survived by son Carl S. Mittlestedt Cedar Rapids, two sisters Mabel Becker Cedar Rapids and Mrs Walter Crain West Union, brother George fr Mittlestedt Cedar Rapids, a grandson and four great grandchildren. Hoover Hubbard of 1419 Second Avenue SE Cedar Rapids died unexpectedly Thursday. A Cedar Rapids resident since 1920 he was a World War I veteran born April 2 1897 in New Albany Indiana. He married Margaret Benjamin December 4 1922 in Marion and was retired from Concrete Materials Co. He leaves four sons Hoover Hubbard Jr Kenneth W Richard W all of Cedar Rapids and Hubert F Hubbard Clinton five grandchildren and a sister burial at Cedar Memorial cemetery with American Legion rites. William Clyde Broxey 86 of 1217 Third Street NW Cedar Rapids died at home Thursday evening of natural causes. Born February 27 1884 he leaves eight sons Charles Kenneth Bud Orval Clifford Jack Loren Dean from Cedar Rapids and Shells burg plus five daughters Josephine Rose Gladys Gladwin Goldie Benner Helen Barbara all of Cedar Rapids Quasqueton and two step daughters Georgia Von Fumet Cedar Rapids Alberta.
