No plans for special prosecutor in Iowa officer shooting
Linn County Attorney Jerry Vander Sanden says he will present the officer-involved shooting evidence to a grand jury and will not appoint a special prosecutor. State lawmaker Stacey Walker urged otherwise amid controversy over past cases involving Cedar Rapids police officer Lucas Jones. A seven-member grand jury will be chosen. five votes needed for an indictment.
