Harvesting of Cuban Sugar Starts Early

Havana reports Cuba began harvesting its 1965 sugar cane crop Tuesday, a month ahead of schedule. The regime mobilized 40,000 volunteer cutters from Havana with prior harvest experience and received 2,000 new trucks from allied nations to move cane to mills.
