Prairie Begins New Grid Era Under Coach Dostal
Prairie football launches a new era as Couch Dostal takes over from Red Lehhigh. He inherits a 1-7-2 last two seasons and a large 33 man varsity. Key returnees include Greg Fetter at QB, Tom Lytle, Bob Cleppe, Pat Stepanek, and guard Al Reusch as the line anchors. Practices show strong hitting and improving conditioning as Dostal emphasizes junior development and depth for a tougher schedule beginning at home.
