Iowans Prepare in Florida as Charley Approaches
At least three Iowans in Clearwater waiting for Hurricane Charley. Tracy Bennett and Kelly Martin 22 from North Liberty stayed amid hot, crowded conditions with gas lines and alligators warning signs. Red Cross volunteers coordinate shelters and support while prepared teams head to Alabama to assist after landfall.
