Palo Car Damaged In Hit Run Crash
Special to The Gazette Palo at the junction of highways 74 and 399 west edge of Palo Tuesday night a car driven by John Covington pulled off of highway 74 after stopping at a stop sign and was struck on the left front fender by a 1948 or 1949 light green Plymouth driven by an unidentified man who did not stop. The Plymouth fled west at high speed. Covington had just purchased his car. This was the eighth accident at the junction recently.
