An angel among the gangs in Jersey City
In Jersey City Sister Antonelle Chunka, a former parochial school principal, works with street gangs like the Zodiacs and The Insane Ones to steer youths away from violence. She creates a peace network, brings dropouts to night school, and offers sanctuary near a park, listening to youths and identifying key street influentials to aid reform.
