Paige and Landen Eastburn reflect on a life saved after a high risk pregnancy and a 27 time NICU stay. Landen weighed 13 ounces at birth and survived against 2 percent odds, growing now near typical size and returning for NICU reunions with the clinicians who supported him.
Former St Luke's NICU patients and families are invited to a free reunion at the Alumni Terrace 1026 A Ave NE Cedar Rapids from 1 to 4 PM Sunday. Attendees may donate supplies for a school drive while reconnecting with NICU staff and recalling the journey of care and resilience.
