Mel Stottlemyre improved to 4-0 as the Yankees beat the Red Sox 6-4 in Boston. He said he never looks past his next game and noted he did not finish the seventh due to muscle stiffness and Boston’s rally. Lindy McDaniel relieved to preserve the win.

Regis Golf Team Edges Lancers In Tight Match

Regis nipped LaSalle 169 to 170 at Twin Pines as Dan Miller posted 38 and Ron Roup 41 led LaSalle. Regis low scorers were News 43, Stortz 42, Twaddle 42, Berry 42. Regis also won 170 to 219 in a separate tally.
