In Linn County Iowa a mistrial was declared in the Allan Bennett heroin sale case after juror Mary Fisher questioned the process during closing arguments. Judge William Eads sustained the mistrial after Fisher stated the jurors’ views, with a new trial date set for May 23. Bennett, 28, Cedar Rapids, faced delivery-for-profit charges linked to payments of 30 dollars to an undercover agent.
