Georgetown Church Set for Dedication November 2
The Church of St. George in Georgetown will be dedicated in a 10:30 mass officiated by Archbishop Karl J. Alter. The brick three acre site on state route 125 east of town will seat 200. Father Clarence Meyer leads the Benedictine parish with a homecoming on dedication day.

Archdiocesan Council Urges UN Protest Over Bulgarian Trial

Sr Thecla Lohmuller dies at Regina Heights aged 79
Sister Thecla Lohmuller of the Sisters of the Precious Blood died Oct 23 in Lourdes hall Regina Heights at age 79 in the 57th year of her religious life. She worked in domestic service at several convents in Ohio Indiana and the UK and is survived by a brother and a sister. A Requiem Mass was held in Immaculate Conception chapel with burial Oct 25 in the convent cemetery.

Marine Pfc. Bernard J. Geygan Jr died Oct 3 at White Horse Hill Korea after being wounded in July and September. He was 22, son of Mr and Mrs Bernard Geygan of Cincinnati.
