Numerous Catholic and parish clubs announce May events including card parties, dances, luncheons, and socials. Activities span St. Aloysius auxiliary 37th anniversary, Notre Dame Club spring dance, St. Joseph homes fundraisers, Julie Billiart reunion, and multiple women’s guilds hosting breakfasts socials and recollection days at Fontbonne, Mount Airy, and local churches with refreshments, raffles, and special guests.
Four Mt. St. Joseph college seniors have been appointed to dietician internships in Ohio and Michigan hospitals. Janet Lehman will intern at Good Samaritan hospital in Cincinnati. Mary Margaret Mulligan at Ford hospital in Detroit. Mary Jane Dockery at Western Reserve University hospital in Cleveland. and King of Wheeling will intern at Ohio State University hospital in Columbus.
The second annual family basket picnic for former students of the College of Mt. St. Joseph, their families and friends, is scheduled on Sunday May 18 at 2 p.m. on the campus. Mrs. Joseph Mooney is chairman with assistants Mrs. Edward Helmick and Mrs. Eugene Oelscher. Cincinnati chapter members and out-of-town invitees will attend.
