The Feier tag family near Amelia hosts five Catholic Charities foster boys aged 9 to 16, living with Gordon and Agnes Feier tag in a 41 acre farm. The boys, Pat Tim Dick Paul and Ronnie, attend local schools and share chores, meals, and a close brotherly bond. Since 1936 the Feier tags have welcomed 16 boys, creating a large, extended family and lasting ties with their mentors.

The fifth annual Family Life conference at Xavier University climaxes Sunday March 23 at 8 p.m. with Father Godfrey Diekmann delivering the address and the Greater Cincinnati Family of the Year to be named. Opening sessions begin tonight in South Hall at 8 p.m. with a talk on The Vocation of Marriage by Diekmann, editor of Worship. Father Maguire will award the family honor.
Six finalists compete in the fourth annual Archdiocesan Oratorical contest at Julienne High School in Dayton on Sunday March 30 from 3 to 5 p.m. Three finalists from the Bishop Thill conference and three from the Greater Cincinnati conference of the Catholic Students Mission Crusade are expected to attend along with church officials including Monsignor Harry J. Ansbury and Father Henry Glocker. About 800 high school students from archdiocesan CSMC units are anticipated.
