St Marys Homecoming Set for August 11 12 in Cincinnati
St Marys church downtown Cincinnati at 13th and Clay hosts a summer homecoming August 11 and 12 led by pastor John Reichert. The executive committee includes John Bolan Henry Pohlman William Baechle and others. A plate lunch Saturday and chicken dinner Sunday are planned with booths games rides and social activities and war bonds awarded as prizes. Clay Street will close west half for the event.

The married women's organization of Our Lady of Grace Church Glenway and Considine avenues Price Hill will run a Grocery Booth at a two day summer festival on Saturday and Sunday July 21 and 22. Mrs Pauline Harford leads the special committee with Mrs William A Deters and Mrs Frank Stath as refreshment center co chairs. A war bond booth will be operated with John Molloy assisted by Frank Gas. William A Deters is general chairman with Mrs Frank Fischer chairing and Mrs Carl Gross cochairing the women's committee for a Sunday noon to p m dinner. Rev Frederick F Bien is reception committee chair. Robert Kelly and Carl Schuler head the Old Tavern beverages and brat wurst operations. The midway promises diversified entertainment.

Norwood Festival Sets Garden Grounds Celebration
The Norwood Festival will be held on school grounds at Carter and Lincoln avenues Saturday afternoon and evening August 11. Edward Dossman is general chairman with many volunteers assisting booths and attractions. Monsignor Francis A. Ge and assistants will oversee the afternoonchildren program. Proceeds go to the church fund and a program for returning service members of the parish.
