A Solemn Mass will open a novena of Masses on July 18 at St Edward Church in Cincinnati to honor St Ann. Norwood seminary hosts first part session of archdiocesan teachers college

Enrollment at 431 includes 130 Mt St Marys and St Gregorys seminarians attending summer classes at Norwood seminary. The Teachers' college summer session expands to the seminary for the first time with participants from 13 archdioceses and dioceses. Dominican Nuns Elect Prioress for Fourth Term

Mother Mary Dominic was postulated by the Cincinnati Dominican Nuns to serve another term as prioress of the Perpetual Adoration order at Holy Nannie monastery. Archbishop John T. Annual Scout Retreat Opens July 12 at Mt Alverno Cincinnati

Several hundred Boy Scouts from 36 Catholic troops in Cincinnati will attend the annual retreat at Mt Alverno on July 12 14 and 15. The program features Mass Rosary Benediction religious exercises and conferences with athletic events swimming hikes and talks by alcohol priests.
