Additional Society of Mary ordinands include Rev. Bertrand Galan, Rev. Francis Gerber, and Rev. Bernard Horst. Three class members were ordained last year.

Chapel Fund Aims Temporary Worship Space in Felicity

The Parish of Our Mother of Good Counsel in Felicity converts a store into a temporary chapel. Father Joseph J. A representative of Xavier University will speak at a forthcoming event in Richmond California. The S S Victory ship named for Xavier will be launched on March 1 as one of 40 colleges and universities selected by the Maritime Commission to name vessels. Oberlin College is also among those chosen.

Funeral Rites Held for Fr. George H. Meyer

Final obsequies for the Rev. George H. Meyer pastor of St. Stephen's Church Cincinnati were held there honoring almost 25 years of service. The Most Rev. Bishop George J. Behring presided and Meyer died in his 64th year. He earlier served at Holy Family Cincinnati and Rosa Dayton before long tenure at St Stephen's Cincinnati.
