The Parish of Our Mother of Good Counsel in Felicity converts a store into a temporary chapel. Father Joseph J. Schneider leads the mission as Catholics in several districts attend Mass in makeshift houses of worship. A fund will support erecting inexpensive chapels when materials arrive. A $6000 check from the Ertel family of St. Bores parish and $25 from Thomas Klett of St. William's parish were received on Feb 10.

A representative of Xavier University will speak at a forthcoming event in Richmond California. The S S Victory ship named for Xavier will be launched on March 1 as one of 40 colleges and universities selected by the Maritime Commission to name vessels. Oberlin College is also among those chosen.

Behring presided and Meyer died in his 64th year. He earlier served at Holy Family Cincinnati and Rosa Dayton before long tenure at St Stephen's Cincinnati.
The Lenten sermons of Rt. Rev. Monsignor Fulton Sheen were broadcast on the Cincinnati station WSAI. The 2 pm Sunday program aired as part of the Catholic broadcast lineup.
