Natrona County District High School 1910 Graduation
The first Natrona County District High School graduation took place May 18 1910 at Odd Fellows hall. Isabelle Wheeler gave the Salutatory, Dr Charles O Merrica of the University of Wyoming delivered the address, Helen Wallace read the valedictory, and Rev J Villiers offered the benediction. The event featured a decorated stage a chorus performance and generous floral tributes from Prof Mendelsohn.

Capitol Hill Tract Sold in Casper for Over 28000
Henry White sold 285 acres known as Capitol Hill addition to Alex T and Elma Butler for more than 28000. They plan to plat and sell lots soon. part of the tract hosts the new state hospital and the H M railroad survey crosses it. Butler will arrange with a trust company to carry contracts and sell land on same terms as the townsite company. The city water and sewer reach much of the tract signaling development as a modern Casper suburb.

Casper high school earned second place at the Wyoming state track meet in Laramie with 14 points. Cheyenne led with 53 points while Cody, etc. Casper standout performances included John McKeehan winning the half mile and Tri Lightner in the mile, with Lightner also taking the quarter mile.

Dandelion Control Method from Colorado Experiment
A Colorado Agricultural College experiment reports three applications of a copper sulfate solution kill all dandelions in a lawn without harming grass. Apply 1 1/4 pounds copperas per gallon water as a fine forced spray to cover every square inch, repeat in 2 3 weeks, possibly 4th late summer. Grass may blacken briefly but will recover and darken with watering and mowing. Avoid cement or stone walks to prevent yellow staining.

Fire truck test interrupted by arson delay
Firemen planned a Monday evening test of a new auto fire truck but someone set it off on Sunday. The department fought the blaze quickly and the machine was out of commission for a few days due to the incident near the depot.
