Burlington reports crews are active on a new rail line in Fremont County. Additional work and related developments are expected as construction progresses. Local officials note expected economic benefits and traffic impacts during the project phase.
Burlington Co buys 26 acres in Casper for railroad yards and repair shops. About 1000 workers will start work March to build a new line from Thermopolis to Orin Junction and connect Powder River.
