Wife of Casper Man Dies in Sioux City

Man Held Over Forgery Case in January Hearing

Sheriff Jose Sheffner brought Leon Guinard to Casper after locating him in Fullerton Nebraska on forgery charges. Guinard confessed and awaits the district court term beginning the second Tuesday in January for his hearing. He forged his brother in law John Felton’s name on a check cashed at Idelvale cafe and later at a different location. Felton defended himself and helped uncover Guinard’s crime.

Evangelistic Campaign Begins for Rev Ira W Kingsley

Rev Ira W Kingsley, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, will start protracted meetings the first week of January in Lander with Casper services continuing.
