Sugar beet factory proposal for Wheatland district
The Great Western Sugar company proposes to farmers in the Wheatland district that they grow sugar beets for the erection of a factory there. A December 14 launch will debut the six masted Wyoming, the largest wooden vessel built in the nation, at Hathe shipyard with a 3 740 gross tonnage and 350 feet length. Postal authorities in Washington levy 200 penalties for misdirected mail including newspapers. A home remedy for pneumonia involves hot onions and rye meal poultices. The Women of Woodcraft plan a fancy work bazaar December 10 with refreshments and a small admission. A local resident, Mrs Holmberg, denies involvement in a Casper petition and says she has not attended related meetings.
