The allied reply to Turkish objections to the peace treaty warns that Turkey may be driven from Europe if she refuses to sign or fails to implement the treaty. The statement was made public in London on July 17.

Sandy Hook July 17 The Resolute led Shamrock IV around the first mark in the second race of the series and began the ten mile leg. Shamrock closed to within 200 yards at times as wind lightened and both sloops pressed on toward Long Island with a large naval dirigible and escorting aircraft overhead.

It lies about 2,000 feet west of Salt Creek and is the only Midwest well completed on this quarter within proven territory.
