Harris N Thornburg born in Randolph County NC on June 4 1835 died April 1 1806 at age 60 years 9 months seven days He married Emily Bowen on December 25 1859 and they had eight children seven survive him He fell ill March 26 and declined His last remarks were Praise the Lord Im Going Home His main concern was the welfare of his child Dahlia He had been an invalid for four years and bore his suffering to the end.
Lawrence Hill of Indianapolis visited his father B F Hill while C P Gillam of Modoc stayed with his father in law John Wilson.
