New Marshal and Sheriff Arrest Suspect in Carthage Theft
Herbert McCorkill and Sheriff Dallas Hardwick of Rushville arrested 29 year old Hoyte Lowe of Carthage on a theft charge. Lowe allegedly stole two wheels and tires from a Ford belonging to Willard Cox last Monday night at the Container Corporation parking area and later moved and repainted them before transporting to Indianapolis.

The forty sixth annual convention of the Women s Foreign Missionary Society of the Rushville district of the Methodist Episcopal church met Wednesday at the St Paul M E church in Rushville. Officers were chosen in the morning session. The conference lasted all day with a box lunch at noon. Pony injures legs in cart overturn near Carthage

Will Tour Alaska By Aeroplane
