Hunting Prospects Brighten With Record Quail and Pheasant Releases
Indiana conservation officials announce 157 182 quail and pheasants liberated by over 900 conservation clubs in recent weeks. The fall opener on November 10 should see strong hunting prospects as nine farms supply stock and clubs receive payments per bird reared. The program started four years ago and is expanding despite planned contract cuts in 1942.
