Guest Day At Friends Meeting Hosts Indian Topic Talk
Mrs. Elizabeth B. Stone hosted the Friends Missionary guest day meeting with about forty attendees. Miss Dorothy Pitman of Richmond spoke on Indian tribes she has worked with, showed items received from the Indians, and answered questions. Mrs. Ida T. Parker of Richmond spoke and greeted old friends. A social hour followed with refreshments served by Mrs. Elsa Henley and others.

Stunt Night draws record crowd at Carthage High School
A record crowd of over four hundred packed Carthage High School gym Tuesday evening to view stunt night shows by all classes from seventh to seniors. Highlights included Johnny Winslow as announcer Rex Griffiths as surgeon and the Freshmen with the Gay Nineties revue led by Jim Carr and Joanne Tweedy on a Bicycle Built for Two.

Services Held for Roy Ash in Greenfield
Funeral services were conducted at Pasco Mortuary in Greenfield for Roy Ash aged 47 who died suddenly from a heart attack at his home. Interment followed at Asbury cemetery in Morristown. Surviving are his widow Goldie Jones Ash a daughter Mrs. Howard Turner and three grandchildren a cousin Ralph Moore and Alonzo Dalrymple is slowly improving.
