Carl Carson Sr., 71, of 204 North East Street Carthage died at 12 30 a.m. Sunday at Rush Memorial Uncqual after a nine month illness. Born August 10 1895 in Hancock County he was a farmer and trucker. Survived by widow Mary Harvey two daughters Eve lyn Siler and Joyce Gentile a son Carl Carson Jr seven grandchildren four step grandchildren five half sisters and five half brothers. Memorial services were held Tuesday at Fletcher Methodist Church with burial at Glencove Cemetery Knightstown.

Rites Held For Frank Bever 73 Carthage Area Resident
Frank E Bever 73 of Rushville died Sunday night in Rush Memorial Hospital after eight months ill. He lived near Carthage for years, farming, and recently with his daughter Kathryn Smith in Rushville. Born January 17 1893 in Missouri he was survived by Bertha May his wife of 1914 two daughters a brother two sisters five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Master and Sons Mortuary with Reverends Richard Merriman and Paul Boulton officiating. Burial in Arlington East Hill Cemetery followed.
