Vincennes pupils appear on Conversational Spanish TV program
Principal Bruno Lupato and Miss Sue Frem der accompanied twenty Vincennes School No. 1 pupils to Evansville to appear on the Southwestern Indiana Educational Television Network program Conversational Spanish at 11 a m on Channel 7. The class has eighty enrolled third and fourth graders and uses two viewing stations in a large room. The network telecasts over Channel 7 Evansville reaching about 26 000 pupils plus parents and others.

Rush County Names New Assistant County Agent Ron Humphrey
Ron Humphrey assumed duties as Rush County assistant county agent on November 23. A Purdue graduate with a B S in agriculture in 1958 he comes from Noble County where he served as assistant county agent. He has extensive 4 H Club experience including beef dairy pigs forestry corn soil conservation wildlife and electric projects. He is married with one son and the family has moved to the Miss Lillian Bennett farm property south of Rushville.

Carthage High School conduct plan prompts mercy on honor roll
In the six week grading period each teacher gives a conduct grade and the lowest grade appears on the card. A C or above is required to stay on the honor roll, with B still considered average. Barn Fire Destroys Structure North of Arlington
A barn on the George Davis farm three miles north of Arlington on Carthage road burned last Thursday night. Discovered at 6:55 by a passing motorist, Arlington and Carthage fire departments could not save it. Some equipment was removed. hay corn and grain were lost. The loss was believed covered by insurance.
