George Holwager pastor of East Street Christian church has aided revival services in Shirley for ten days. Short funeral services were held Wednesday for the stillborn son of Elmer and Mrs Wilkinson. Mrs Wilkinson is in serious condition. Mrs John DeSchipper Mrs Susan Addison Miss Virginia McBride Mrs Walter Mann and daughter Margaret were in Indianapolis Tuesday. William A Minor a Carthage resident for 47 years died at his North Market home Monday at 1 15 am from heart trouble following a five year illness. Born near Abington Indiana on April 2 1842 he was 92. Survived by three daughters Lizzie Troyer Lulu Augustine and Mae Siler eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral at 2 30 pm Wednesday at his home with E L Glover as minister. Burial in Carthage cemetery. D P Dunn funeral director. He was famed as a horseman and kept many prescriptions for horse ailments.

Sheriff Warns Farmers of County Alert over Farm Thefts

California family injured in head on boulevard collision
Mrs. Katie Spencer, her sister Maude Bell, and brother Lawrence Pittss who live in San Bernardino were injured in a Sunday car crash near a boulevard when Maude Bell and Major Hogue tried to pass another vehicle. Mrs. Spencer sustained facial lacerations, Bell a broken arm and leg, and Lawrence bruises. All were reported recovering in an Upland hospital. Bell had undergone gallstone surgery two weeks earlier.
