The county agent's office reports 744 head of lambs and 53 head of sheep handled through five lamb pools in Rush County this year. Forty three percent of lambs were double blue and 71 percent graded in the top two grades. Average lamb weight was 92.1 pounds. Sheep production has declined for two consecutive years in the county.

War Materiel and Tactics Exhibit in Richmond Hoosier tour
A five carload World War II materiel train will display weapons and tactics used by U S Marines in the Pacific.
