Jasper N Parish 52 died suddenly Monday after one o clock at his mother's home, suffering prior facial palsy and a heart attack. A town marshal and former professional cyclist, he served in the Spanish American War and raced in Elwood Cincinnati Indianapolis and other states earning cash prizes and medals. Surviving: son Paul Parish Indianapolis mother Miriam E Parish six brothers three sisters. Charles Garrison buys the Jackson bakery on North State street joining his Main street shop. Grace Overman and fellow Miami University students performed at Dayton high school, while Clarence Newsom and Miriam Parker welcomed a newborn daughter born Nov 1 in Elizabethtown. An accident near Anderson injured Chester Wall and his wife, their son, and Fletcher Wall, as they headed to Marion for Mrs John Wall's funeral.
