At a Friday night school board meeting Carthage elected the 1912 13 faculty. Highlights include Evangeline Lewis as principal elect and Bertha Kenner re elected to sixth and seventh grades.

Weaver served in the army for five years, enlisting in 1876, and rose to sergeant by 1880 with commendations from his commanding officer.
Seniors were honored at a Friday reception hosted by Juniors at Miss Ruby Nelson’s home. Prof and Mrs W. W. Lindley led a grand march in which all participated while Miss Nelson provided the march accompaniment. A class biography was read as the house was decorated in yellow ribbon and violets with red and white junior colors.

An admission of five cents funded the Society. Section B performed the comedy Reflected Glory with a cast including Mrs Walter Newsom Mrs C G Hill Mrs J A Walter Miss Mabel Mossburg Mrs Robi Hamilton and Mrs Ora Siler. Jesse Rhoades assisted and served as train caller as music and songs closed the program.
Three Section Rollers priced at 19.00 and sweet Washington naval oranges at Henley’s Grocery twelve cents per dozen for Friday and Saturday. The Christian Endeavor meeting and social occurred Tuesday at the home of Mr and Mrs Cleve Beher with Miss Ramona Norris in charge. Delegates chosen were Miss Esther Williams Fred White and Earl Addison for the Christian Endeavor Convention to be held at Lynn on May 24-56.
