A large audience heard Dr E H Lindley of Indiana University give a speech on Powers of Men. Supt W W Lindley presented diplomas and urged wisdom and preservation of resources as graduates received their credentials amid music and benediction by Rev C N Willson.

W L C Calls Members to Meeting at Library

Members of the W L C are urged to attend a call meeting at the library on Monday May 20 at 2 30 P M. Important business will be transacted. By Order Executive Committee.

Meeting of W. L. C. Postponed Due to Illness

The W. L. C. meeting scheduled at the Public Library is postponed as serious illness affects three members. The event was to feature a guest day and will be rescheduled until further notice.

Death of Mrs Emma Benjamin 55 in Tow Oklahoma

Mrs Emma Benjamin died Saturday night at her home in Tow Oklahoma after two weeks of critical illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at the M E Church with many school officials in attendance. She led the Primary 4 department and her husband Milton Benjamin was Rush County County Superintendent. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery with services by relatives and local pastors. Funeral directors were Lewis and Son.
