Will Visit Husband in Hawaii Next Week
Mrs Richard Patty Grizzell daughter of Mr and Mrs Paul McCorkle will fly from Indianapolis to Honolulu on Wednesday March 29 for six days with her husband. Pfe Grizzell is in Vietnam and will be sent to Hawaii for rest and recuperation after leaving Vietnam last August a few weeks after their marriage. He will be in Vietnam until September 1967. He is on a six weeks tour with the United States Field Band covering several southern states. Airman Steve Ellis son of Mr and Mrs Ellis was home from Chanute Field Illinois during the weekend.

A 50th anniversary reception for Mr. and Mrs. Edwards took place Sunday at the Fletcher Methodist Church annex in Carthage from 2 to 5 p.m. Family guests from multiple Indiana towns attended, with 48 of 50 close relatives present. The couple married March 17, 1917, and their five sons and daughters-in-law assisted with arrangements.

Logan Nelson 81 of Carthage died suddenly at Rush Memorial Hospital after a heart attack. Born January 22 1886 southwest of Carthage he married Opal Clayton March 16 1910 who survives. Funeral services conducted by Rev Stanley Palicki at Hampton Mortuary Carthage with burial Arlington West Hill Cemetery. Survivors include widow and sister Bertha Staley of Vincennes.
