W A Bailey died suddenly at his home in Anderson at 11 30 Monday morning. The body was taken to Brown and Butts Funeral Home in Anderson. The funeral was held at 2 o clock Wednesday afternoon. He was the step father of Mrs Maurice Brooks and father of Patty Bailey. He visited the family Sunday afternoon.

Purdue University economists in Lafayette expect no major shift in price relationships for farmers through the first half of the year. The Thompson Funeral Home in Carthage was sold this week to Frank Hampton of Bedford by Mr and Mrs A B Thompson. Hampton, recently licensed, takes over the mortuary and plans to move here soon. The Thompsons began operation after the 1937 death of Davis Dunn and will retire to a vacation. They thank the Carthage community for twenty years of support.
