County commissioners award road surface contracts
At a county meeting last Friday the commission awarded contracts for road resurfacing materials. Kokomo Construction Co. of Kokomo won three bids for tar, cutback asphalt, and road oil. W. L. Magaw Co. of Richmond received the emulsified asphalt bid. All bids require the successful bidders to supply and apply the materials. Kokomo bid 12.24.

County approves multiple road surfacing bids for summer project
The county accepted bids for tar at 7.5 cents per gallon, cutback asphalt 7.74 cents, road oil 4.73 cents, and emulsified asphalt at 69 cents per gallon.
