Miss Eva Johnson of Carthage died Tuesday morning at 7 30 at the home of Mr and Mrs Crouch east of Knightstown. She was 57 and died after a stroke suffered Friday. Born in Carthage September 9 1857 she lived here most of her life and ran a millinery store. She was a member of the Friends church. Survived by brother Raymond Johnson Prescott Arizona. nephews Charles J Johnson Detroit Michigan William S Johnson and Roderick Johnson Phoenix Arizona. nieces Mrs Carl Roll Wisconsin Rapids Wisconsin and Mrs John Culver Racine Wisconsin. Funeral Thursday at four at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev Murray S Kenworthy in charge. Interment Friends cemetery.
