Charles D. Moore 74 retired implement dealer died Monday morning at Rushville Nursing Home after a weeklong illness. He began selling farm power gear in 1922 and helped found Carthage Tractor and Implement Company with his son Robert. Survived by wife Lillian, sons Robert and Jack, daughter Betty, sister Daisy, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral held at Hampton Mortuary Carthage with Masonic burial rites in Riverside Cemetery.
