Junior and Senior Band Rehearsals Start June 14
On Monday June 14 junior band and high school marching band rehearsals begin, running weekdays 8 am to 4 pm through July 1. Carthage fell 5 2 to Shelbyville’s Thomas Market on Wednesday night at Ripley Fields. Visiting pitcher Miller allowed three hits and two runs while Carthage pitcher Tague struggled in the sixth, yielding four runs on five hits. Fred Magee hit a two run triple after walks by Patterson and McCorkle, but Magee was out at home trying for a homer. Next Wednesday the team hosts the Indianapolis Ever Sweet Orange in a doubleheader at 7:00 p.m.
