Arlington Man Dies Sudden at Summer Home
Richard J. Seitz, 59, of Arlington, died suddenly Tuesday morning of a heart attack at his summer home near North Vernon while spending the Memorial Day holiday. He had 29 years as service manager of a Shelbyville garage. Born September 18, 1901 in Dearborn County, he was the son of John and Anna Zimmerman Seitz. He married Margaret A. Shauck of Arlington, who survives, along with son William Jere Seitz, two children from a former marriage Richard Seitz Jr. of Rochester, Mich., and Mrs. Clara J. Gillis of Shelbyville, and stepson John A. Shauck of Homer.
