Frances Addison daughter of Mr and Mrs Walter Addison and Fred Sims Jr son of Mr and Mrs Fred Sims were married by Rev Criswell in Green s Greenwood Methodist parsonage on Wednesday July 18 at 7 30 p m The bridal party included Dwight Sims best man and Betty Moore bridesmaid The couple both graduates of Carthage High School 1930 Miss Addison studied at Butler University and Mr Sims at Indiana University They will reside in Indianapolis and he will join L S Ayers Company as a buyer in the gent's furnishing department on August 1 The wedding party dined at the Pretzel Bel Indianapolis with music and stunts honoring the couple.

Dillinger Shot to Death by Chicago Agents at Theater
John Dillinger, famed outlaw, was killed Sunday night after a tip led Melvin Purvis and a team of 27 agents to surround the Biograph theater on the near north side. Dillinger arrived with two women and was shot during the dramatic arrest sequence. Private funeral services followed at his sister’s home in Maywood.

Auto License Half Price Sale Report Shows Growth
The annual half price license plates for 1934 expire January 1, 1935 and are sold at half price. Through July 1, 53,660 more motor vehicle plates were sold than last year. Only dealer plates declined due to stricter issuance enforcement. From December 1 1934 to July 1 1935 passenger plate issuance rose to 627 025 versus 587 745 in 1932 33.
