Funeral Friday at ten o'clock at the late home with Rev J I Meyer of Fletcher M E Church officiating burial in Walnut Ridge cemetery.

Fire in Small Rick Near Mill Causes Hundreds of Bale Loss
A fire in a straw bale rick near the west end of the paper mill was discovered shortly after 11 am Wednesday and burned several hundred bales. Two engines responded. one remained on scene today as the mill’s water system was used and the rick continued smoldering at noon Thursday. Origin undetermined.
