Mrs Mazel Irene Riley died after a diabetic coma. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 PM at Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev Howard Crim officiating. Interment followed in Town cemetery. Born March 24, 1922, she was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Leslie. She married Pvt George E Riley June 11, 1939. Surviving are her husband and three sons Charles Wendell and John, her parents, four brothers Reuben R Leslie Arthur A Leslie Albert Leslie and John David Leslie overseas and one sister Mrs Gladys Wright of Carthage.

Mrs Mina Rogers aged 76 former Rush county resident and widow of Arthur Rogers died early Wednesday July 11 at her home north of Knightstown where she had lived two years. She had lived near Carthage for years. Surviving are two sons Loren Seymour and John Knightstown one daughter Ruth Bever at whose home she died two brothers Bert and Morton Coryell Indianapolis six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
