Rites Held For Roy Blessinger in Carthage
Funeral services were held for Roy Blessinger at Hampton Funeral Home in Carthage with Rev. Jack Wallace officiating. He died suddenly at 46, after working as an instrument technician at Container Corporation for 25 years. He was a WWI Marine veteran, American Legion member, and Fletcher Methodist attendee. Born August 14, 1915 in Rush County, he is survived by his widow Margaret Benfield, daughter Carolyn, son Roy Eugene, and six brothers. Burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Zeta Myrtle Dobson, 85, a former Carthage resident, died Saturday at Myers Nursing Home in Washington Indiana after months of ill health. Born September 7 1876 near Odon she taught school and ran the Carthage Hotel with her husband Jerome Dobson who died in 1945. She leaves a nephew C J Stotts and two cousins.
