WIBC Jamboree To Appear Here
Dr. Robert Spangler announces the WIBC Jamboree will come to town on Thursday February 8 at the Tweedy Memorial Center after the post sponsored event at Tomlinson Hall in Indianapolis. The program, from Station WIBC Indianapolis, will be broadcast from Saturday nights with dancing and music by the Jamboree orchestra. An amateur show is planned with no age limit and prizes will be awarded. Details in next week’s Citizen.

Local Cagemen Triumph Over Arlington Raiders Stop Wildcats
Arlington Wildcats were defeated 31 to 13 by Carthage Raiders on Arlington’s floor Friday night. Jim Carr led the locals with 16 points on seven field goals and two fouls shots. Carthage led each quarter and struggled at the line, making seven of 26 free throws. Three Arlington players fouled out as the Raiders head to Kightstown next Friday February 2 for a county tournament game against the Falcons.
