Mr and Mrs George Moore returned Saturday from Tempe Arizona where they spent a few weeks with their daughter and family. They report the weather warm and pleasant. Mrs Fred B Sims entered Hancock County Hospital last week and underwent surgery. Mrs Sims, music director in the Mays school, is improving nicely.

Judith Ann Lewark daughter of Gilbert Lewark Knightstown and Melvin McCorkle son of Wilbur and Mrs McCorkle Carthage were married Saturday January 19 at the Knightstown Methodist Church. Rev Earl Sharp officiated. The bride wore a ballerina length white taffeta gown with Alecon lace and a lace headband. Linda Lewark served as matron of honor. Tom Lawrence of Knightstown was best man. The couple will reside on Park Ave Knightstown. The bride works for the Indiana State Department of Agriculture and the groom for the State Highway Department.
