Talent Hour Show Planned at Farmers Institute
An evening of entertainment is planned during the talent hour at the Farmers' Institute on Thursday at 7 30 P M January 24 in the Carthage Community Center. Talent numbers come from Ripley Posey Walker and Orange townships. Henry Stinger will preside as chairman. A cake walk follows the talent program with four cakes from each township.

Fire damages Nor tham farm home near Arlington
A defective flue caused a blaze Sunday at Clarence Northam and family farm house in Posey Township southwest of Arlington. Northam discovered the fire at 11 15 a m and Perry Wooten of Arlington helped until Arlington and Morristown fire crews arrived. The roof and contents suffered heavy damage with an estimated loss of 3000 dollars.
